Well, in yet another attempt at being “gutless” and merely preaching to the choir, I have to ask: “Now what? Or, if you prefer: “What now?” Either way folks, we are in a free-fall. But this audience already knows this… I think.

We have “come a long way baby” to quote the Virginia Slims 1960’s Cigarette commercials of decades ago. When good physical condition was still a sought after trait. But, we are, I believe, on the wrong road. A long way on the wrong road to where? The ol’ EV is out of electricity. and, now what? Take the empty one-gallon “electric can” and walk to the nearest filling station? Maybe syphon some electricity from someone else’s tank? I think not kids. We have put ourselves in a very precarious position… through silent compliance. It’s our own fault.

But it’s hard for us, if not nearly impossible: We work, pay our taxes, obey laws and, in general do what we are told to do… Good citizens. Like those in the past, obediently catching the first trains to a concentration camp. For their safety.

And what about this week’s attempt on President Trump’s life? DEI at work? I believe so. Follow the trail? What about Trump’s Secret Service coverage? Rules of engagement? The gal who couldn’t get her weapon back into the holster? The FBI is no friend of our former president. Who was it that promoted Russian Collusion? The Bed-wetting escapades? Who would even think something like that up? “Come-on-man.”

And Biden tells us we all need to lower the temperature? But he continues to reignite it. Any kid who ever watched a 1950’s Western Cowboy movie would have known to keep an eye on that roof. Maybe even put someone up there. I don’t believe a word of it. Not one word. Even Biden’s brief remarks (fielding no questions) following the failed attempt on President Trump’s life were political in nature. And the liberal media somehow finds a way to blame Donald. Brought it upon himself.

But the FBI and Secret Service says that the one building, the ideal spot to shoot President Trump from… the building people told police there was a man with a rifle on the top of… (yeah, that roof) was outside of their area of responsibility. And now I hear they can’t unlock the kid’s cellphone?

Everyone, go to the back of the class, stand in a corner. Do not pass “Go,” do not collect $200.

It’s been a long time since JFK told us “Ask what your…,” ah… “you know the thing” to quote JR Biden. Even LBJ with his “War of Poverty,” a war we lost. Lost I believe, through the untold casualties due to friendly fire. Reagan’s “points of light,” or even, what the heck, Clinton’s “I feel your pain.” But folks, are you really better off today than you were 16-years ago? Yes, before the reign of President Obama. The fellow who changed the narrative. Told his followers, regarding family holiday interactions: “Argue with them, get in their face.” You don’t remember that? Simultaneously reminding his followers that he may be skinny but he is “tough"… well schooled in “Chicago Politics.” The old “bring a gun to a knife fight” guy. Yeah, him. Takes a village you know.

Remember Maxine Waters in 2018: “Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.” And so, the list goes on.

Biden uses a term Sarah Palin was crucified for using years ago: “target.” Who doesn’t use that term? In business, in life in general. Heck, it’s the name of a department store chain… Even the “poster-child” of positivity, Tony Robbins says “You can't hit a target if you don't know what it is.” But if a conservative uses it, somehow it is evil? Get a dictionary. An old one with accurate definitions. One that doesn’t have the word “Super Bowl” in it yet.

But Biden can use it, the term : “target” (just this week I believe) and it’s fine. People, we have gone nuts. We have lost sight of the Truth. It is not my truth, it is not your truth, or someone else’s truth… it is one truth. Christ told us. This nation was founded on ( yes, yes, by people who were sinners… Aren’t both you and I? ), Biblical rule. Anything else is vanity. Wrong. Incorrect.

But, I think that part of the reason many seem to be missing the point is just how Christians fail to pass along the message. They, wanting to save souls, start out with the “Christ died for you…” spiel. And, yes, I believe it, it’s true. But it’s like starting an introductory physics course with quantum mechanics of atoms, molecules, and solids; elementary particle physics, relativistic quantum mechanics, etc rather than with a box of jacks tossed on the floor. I hope you understand my analogy. In math we start by teaching “1…2…3” and so on. Not with the most complex aspects of mathematical equations.

In my humble opinion, it’s the often overlooked verses from scripture that best address the absurdity of life. Life ruled by the limited and sinful human nature from where we start. Heck, these people don’t even believe in “sin” much less heaven or hell. But they do understand ego. The salvation thing can come later. Desert so to speak.

There are verses and verses of Scripture that tell us this. Not in some secret code either. The first one that comes to mind right now for me is:”if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Think about it? How is this “New World Order” working for you?

How’s “… they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.” (Romans 1:21).

Or the warning in 2 Corinthians 10:12 “do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise.” Recognize this anyone?

Or, how about: “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.” Romans 1:22-25. Been to a movie lately? And that golden calf just jumped out of the fire!

And, what the heck, I’ll just quote the whole thing. It’s pertaining to discontentment among those who were making money in the “false god industry” in the First Century AD: (Acts 19: 23-27) About that time there arose a great commotion about the Way. 24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Diana, brought no small profit to the craftsmen. 25 He called them together with the workers of similar occupation, and said: “Men, you know that we have our prosperity by this trade. 26 Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands. 27 So not only is this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the temple of the great goddess Diana may be despised and [b]her magnificence destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship.” There goes the “Idols Futures Market.”

We can’t continue to murder “yet to be born” infants. We cannot attempt to redefine God’s creation, male and female. It’s all very well spelled out in that book the Left has banned from the classroom: The Bible. How do we let them lie to us repeatedly? Spineless? Where are the simple 10 Commandments? I thought we had a right to freedom of association? Oh yeah, that pesky First Amendment.

So, now some even blame Trump for what just happened to him in PA. Even claiming it was faked… Like Jussie Smollett? Like that? What a role model for our youth “he” is.

So, let me ask you: How many conservative “right leaning” citizens are killing themselves off in weekly gunfights on the streets of Chicago? I know more than 100 were shot around the 4th of July Weekend (FYI the “4th” was not on a weekend however). Registered Republicans? Legal gun owners all? I think not. But the first thing we heard about Trump’s would be assassinator: “Registered Republican.” Go figure.

In the words of Chicago Mayor, Brandon Johnson: “When this reckless violence ravages across our city at this magnitude, we are losing a piece of the soul of Chicago. It deeply pains me to admit that, but it is true.” Please Mr. Mayor, define “soul.” What do you mean? The “Hot Buttered Soul” that Issac Hayes sang about? What is your truth regarding the word “soul?” Is it different for everyone? Define it! You folks are destroying the language, creating a second point in history in which no-one will be able to understand one-another. It’s Scriptural: (Genesis 11: 1-9). And I quote:

“Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As people moved eastward,[a] they found a plain in Shinar and settled there.

“3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”

“5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. 6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

“8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[c]—because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.”

What part of this can’t you see?

Anyway, enough said!
