RUMBLE — His name was Clint Hill, and if you know him, it’s probably because you’ve seen him on television. Clint was Agent #9—the now-famous Secret Service agent who chased down the convertible and threw himself over Jackie Kennedy moments after her husband was assassinated in Dallas, way back in 1963. Clint’s courage under fire was preserved for posterity by Abraham Zapruder, who just happened to be pointing his 8-millimeter Bell & Howell camera at the presidential motorcade on that fateful day. The rest, as they say, is history.... (more)

FOX NEWS — The Senate on Thursday voted 51-49 to confirm Kash Patel as FBI director. Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., voted "yes" on the conservative firebrand's confirmation, even while moderates Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and Susan Collins, R-Maine, voted "no." A vote to invoke cloture and begin two hours of debate on the nominee passed 51 to 47 earlier Thursday. Members of the Senate Judiciary Committee voted earlier this month, 12 to 10, to advance Patel to the full floor for a vote. Still, Patel faced a rockier path to confirmation, even in the Republican-majority chamber, after Democrats on the panel used their political weight to delay Patel’s confirmation vote earlier this month.... SELWYN DUKE — It’s an old story: When people are allowed to get their way for too long — when they’re never told “No!" — they tend to get too big for their britches. They may even develop a sense of entitlement or become narcissistic. And proving that judges are no exception to this phenomenon are a number of recent court “opinions” designed to scuttle President Trump’s agenda.... (more)
